Welcome to EventRajah(trading name Viyaparam Ltd with the company number: 15995786. These Terms and Conditions explain the rules, rights, and responsibilities that apply when you access or use EventRajah’s website, services, features, and related applications. EventRajah is intended to operate initially as a portal for Tamil events in the United Kingdom, with potential future expansion into wider event management services and broader geographies.

By accessing or using EventRajah, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to them, you must not use the services.

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

EventRajah means the EventRajah (trading name Viyaparam Ltd with the company number: 15995786) platform, website, and related services.

Services means the EventRajah website, applications, features, content, tools, and any related services made available by EventRajah.

User means any person or entity that accesses or uses the Services.

Organiser means a User who creates, submits, manages, promotes, or operates an event through the Services.

Vendor means a User who uses the Services to identify, support, or participate in events as a supplier, stallholder, performer, sponsor, or service provider.

Customer means a User who browses, views, signs up for, or attends events listed through the Services.

Content means any text, images, branding, logos, event details, schedules, attendee information, messages, documents, data, or other material submitted to or made available through the Services.

2. About the Services

EventRajah provides an event management and discovery platform intended to centralise visibility of events, reduce date clashes, and improve coordination between organisers, vendors, and customers. The current product concept includes a shared calendar and agenda view, admin controls, customer event browsing, and planning for future integrations and mobile app readiness.

EventRajah is a platform provider. Unless expressly stated otherwise, EventRajah does not organise, host, manage, supervise, endorse, or control any event listed on the Services.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You may use the Services only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law. If you use the Services on behalf of a company, organisation, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms and Conditions.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity carried out through your account. You must ensure that the information you provide to EventRajah is accurate, complete, and kept up to date.

4. Roles on the Platform

Organisers are responsible for the events they create, publish, manage, and promote through EventRajah. This includes ensuring that event details are accurate, dates and venues are correctly stated, all required permissions and licences are obtained, attendee information is handled lawfully, and the event complies with applicable law and regulation.

Vendors are responsible for the accuracy of any information they provide, their own commercial arrangements with organisers, and their own compliance with applicable law, licensing, tax, insurance, and health and safety obligations where relevant. EventRajah is not a party to any separate contract or arrangement between a vendor and an organiser.

Customers are responsible for reviewing event information carefully before registering, attending, or otherwise interacting with an event. Attendance at any event may carry inherent risks depending on the nature of the event, venue, and activities involved.

5. Event Listings and Content

You must ensure that any Content you upload or submit is accurate, lawful, and not misleading. You must not upload or post Content that is defamatory, fraudulent, obscene, abusive, infringing, discriminatory, or otherwise unlawful.

By submitting Content to EventRajah, you grant EventRajah a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt, and use that Content for the purpose of operating, improving, marketing, and promoting the Services. You confirm that you have all rights, permissions, and consents needed to submit the Content and to grant this licence.

EventRajah may remove, suspend, edit, refuse, or restrict access to any Content at its discretion where it reasonably believes that Content breaches these Terms, creates legal or reputational risk, or undermines the integrity of the platform.

6. Platform Rules

You must use the Services only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not damage, disable, overburden, interfere with, or compromise the Services or other users’ experience.

You must not scrape, copy, harvest, or commercially exploit site content without permission, use false identities or impersonate another person or business, interfere with security features, access controls, or technical protections, upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful material, use attendee or user data except as permitted by law and these Terms, or use the Services to promote unlawful, unsafe, or deceptive events or activity.

7. Data Protection and Privacy

EventRajah may collect and process personal data in connection with account management, event administration, browsing, enquiries, sign-ups, and related platform activity.

If you are an organiser or vendor and receive personal data through the Services, you must process that data only for lawful purposes, in accordance with applicable UK data protection law and any privacy notice or policy made available by EventRajah. You must implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data.

8. Third-Party Services and APIs

The Services may include or later connect to third-party services, platforms, links, tools, or APIs, including social media integrations such as Instagram-related services. EventRajah does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their availability, content, accuracy, policies, security, or performance.

Any future use of third-party APIs may be subject to additional terms, permissions, platform policies, and technical limitations. Based on the product concept discussed for EventRajah, API integration planning is in scope for future development, but full Instagram integration is not part of the initial PoC scope.

9. Fees, Payments, and Commercial Terms

Unless otherwise stated, access to EventRajah may be free for some users and paid for others, and EventRajah may introduce paid plans, commissions, subscriptions, listing charges, ticketing fees, service fees, or other commercial terms in future.

If EventRajah introduces paid services, additional pricing terms, refund terms, billing rules, and payment processing provisions may apply. EventRajah may use third-party payment providers for any future payment functionality.

10. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Services, including the EventRajah name, branding, software, design, layout, and platform content created by or for EventRajah, belong to EventRajah or its licensors unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Services except as permitted by law or with written permission.

You retain ownership of your own Content, subject to the licence granted to EventRajah under these Terms and Conditions.

11. Suspension and Termination

EventRajah may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Services immediately if it reasonably believes that you have breached these Terms, misused the Services, created legal or security risk, or acted in a way that jeopardises users or the integrity of the platform.

You may stop using the Services at any time. Any provisions that by their nature should continue after termination, including intellectual property, data rights, liability limitations, indemnities, and dispute provisions, will remain in effect.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. EventRajah does not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, always available, suitable for your purposes, or free from technical issues or third-party disruption.

EventRajah does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, accuracy, success, availability, or outcome of any event, organiser, vendor, customer interaction, or third-party service made available through the platform.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EventRajah will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, opportunity, or anticipated savings arising out of or in connection with the Services.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited.

Where permitted by law, EventRajah’s total aggregate liability to you in connection with the Services will be limited to the greater of: (a) the total fees you paid directly to EventRajah in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) £100, if no fees were paid.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EventRajah, its founders, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates against claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or connected with your use of the Services, your Content, your events, your breach of these Terms, or your breach of applicable law or third-party rights.

15. Changes to the Services or Terms

EventRajah may modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. EventRajah may also update these Terms and Conditions from time to time, and continued use of the Services after updated Terms come into effect will constitute acceptance of the revised version.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
